Well, today we had an eventful day. Boy were we busy....It's been a LONG day, but extremely fun!
We joined my friend, Jamie, from high school and her two kids to have a play date at a park near our apartment complex. She was in town from Pennsylvania and wanted to let the boys hang out since they were down and I had our special bundle of energy.
This is her youngest little boy, Tyler, who is going to be 4 months old on Wednesday. All he did today was sleep, eat, poop, and for some reason loved spitting up all over me constantly.

This was when we came home, the boys were coloring together which went great until crayons got broken.

Here's a picture of high school friends. The funny thing is that we HATED each other at first but now are great friends. Sorry about the squinting of the eyes. We didn't quite set ourselves up for the best picture. The sun was in our eyes!

When we got to the park, we had a small picnic. We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, goldfish, strawberries, grapes, and apple juice. The boys were more interested in the park and the playground but sat down for a short period of time to eat. This is a picture of Brendan showing off his strawberry.

This is the baby sleeping during our picnic at the park. He was in the sun and we couldn't seem to shade him, but don't worry....he didn't sleep long!

Here is a picture of my little bundle of energy. We have done a lot of fun things together since Thursday and it's only been 2 days. Can't wait to see what's in store for tomorrow and Sunday when Michael is off work and here with us to play!

My baby is eating goldfish. He had already had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at home before Jamie and the boys showed up.

Here's a picture of the two boys in the back of the truck so we could head to the park for our playdate and fun times!

This morning we made cookies and I had help icing them. He seemed to love the pink ones better than the white ones. He devoured the cookie I gave him.

Needless to say, this was a friendship that was quickly built. Brendan had a huge meltdown when it was time for them to leave. Before they left, the boys were sitting on the couch together saying "You are my new friend"...."Will you be my friend?" It was so adorable.
I am going to leave you with the conversation between Aunt Robin and Elliott this morning.
Elliott: What are you drinking?
Me: Tea
Elliott: Why are you drinking tea?
Me: Because I like it
Elliott: But you are a woman and women only drink water. You like water.
Me: No I like tea
Elliott: Only men drink tea
OMG...where did this come from??? I couldn't believe a three year old was having this conversation with me and was giving me the responses that he was.
Hope you enjoy!
